Prevention and Patient Education
Your protection is important to us. Low-dose digital x-rays are utilized at our office, as are oral cancer exams as part of our diagnostic preventive philosophy.
Our aim is diagnose, then effectively treat your dental problems. Once a healthy state is achieved, we work hard to maintain it.
We will try to listen and understand your chief complaint and concerns. We will focus on our communication skills to better serve you.
Patient education is emphasized concerning the origins and solutions for various problems such as gum disease and uncontrolled decay rates. The value of treatment modalities including regular cleaning and check-ups, fluoride application and diet analysis are explained as preventive measures. Your current medications and medical history are recorded and updated as necessary to your overall treatment.
Sterilization and Infection Control
We maintain strict sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
